The Ladder Pod is a British invention used to generate static camera shots from a high position. They look like three ladders tied together at a 120 degree angle with the camera position at the very top. They extend up to 20 feet high and are commonly used by film or video production companies where budget is an issue or a high vantage point does not exist for allowing high camera shots.
